Thank you for expressing interest in writing for us. We promise to mention you across all our publications so as to ensure the world knows you faster than you can imagine.
Here are the editorial and moral guidelines to how we publish our contents:
Reflect our core value: we promote Africa through its people’s achievements, and other materials that bring pride to the continent.
Stay apolitical: we are allowed to report/write/comment on politics from the standpoint of contribution to the betterment of Africa. For example, if there has been an electoral malpractice, instead of castigating the perpetrator, we will comment on the need for Africa’s democracy to attain maturity, highlight the benefits it would bring in the long run, while using the malpractice event as a case study.
Against that backdrop, our core contents centre on:
African of the Month – here we celebrate Africans who have or are breaking grounds in making Africans proud or have made significant and laudable contribution to humanity.
Top Rated – here we celebrate top achievers in any ramification of life, but must be something to be proud of as an African.
Hero In History – here we celebrate African heroes who are no more.
Spotlight Series – here we spotlight talents and people doing amazing things for Africa and themselves.
Niche Areas – for writers who want to focus on expert topics e.g technology, governance, health, travel, education etc, as you can see in the Sectors tab on the website.
Commentaries/Interpretation – we put our spin on day to day news and events across Africa, from our core values standpoint as explained earlier.
Articles – opinions, features, again from our core values standpoint as explained earlier.
